Welcome to the delegation download, the podcast for founders ready to get social media off their to-do list without losing their voice and know that you want to do it successfully because I get it. Sometimes delegating feels like, I can just do it faster, more effectively. I'll do it myself. Listen, I'm Ruthie Starrett. I'm a social media strategist and CMO level marketing partner at the consistency corner.
In this podcast, we'll be walking you through our proven 5C framework that we use with our clients to turn social media from a draining chore into a strategic growth engine. You didn't start your business to be a content creator. I get it. Whether you're overwhelmed over it or just ready to hand off, you're in the right place.
If you are ready to get off the content hamster wheel, let's get into it. If social media has felt like the loudest, most chaotic thing on your to-do list, I totally get it. And I have a 10 year old. So there's a lot of other loud things happening in my house, but I hear this from founders all the time. Social media at first maybe felt like fun. Maybe it gave you a creative outlet, but the more you do it and the more your business grows and the more you have on your
already busy to-do list, you're already full to-do list, the more it starts to feel like it's draining you. And you're like, I have got to outsource this. But you're worried about losing your brand voice. Maybe you've tried this before and you end up rewriting captions at midnight or thinking, I should just do this myself. I can do it so much better. Well, you're in the right place. And if you've wanted to outsource, but you're like, I don't know where to start. I don't know if I can trust someone else to do this for me.
you're also in the right place. If we haven't met before, I'm Ruthie Starratt. I'm founder of the Consistency Corner and our full service social media agency, The Corner Office, where we specialize in serving brands that serve moms. When I became a mom, I realized the kind of flexibility I craved didn't exist in my corporate marketing job. So after six years, I left and started consulting and over time built a business helping founders like you.

show up online with clarity and confidence without burning out. I chose to niche down to brands that serve moms because I truly believe moms are going to change the world, but they need a little help because none of us can do this alone. And I want to amplify the mesh, the message and mission of brands that are doing work to help moms as a mom. I know the juggle.
As a strategist, I know how to craft content that builds real connection without requiring you to be on Instagram 24 seven. Moms can do it all. We know they can, but they can't do it all the time, at least not for very long. So if you want to do more of what lights you up, you're ready to step into the next era of your business. You're ready to get some time back for your family or even yourself.
it's time to get something off your to-do list. And if social media is the thing that is draining your energy or you just don't have the passion or the creativity or the time to keep doing it consistently, this podcast is for you. This is the roadmap to show you how to delegate your content with confidence and finally step into your corner office visionary role as the CEO of your brand. Whether your audience is moms in the thick of toddlerhood,
or navigating teenhood or somewhere in between, what they really want is to feel seen, heard, and understood. We know that that's what she needs and we are moms and we specialize in creating content that resonates with moms. We also know what you need. You need a strategic partner who gets it and a team who gets it done. I have been where you are. I have been overwhelmed and
underwhelmed by the support that I had and stuck in the loop of like, can just do this myself. But that is a fast road to burnout, my friend. And so like you, I was ready to delegate. My own team helps handle my content. I am a CEO who has support doing my content. And I can tell you that once I was able to outsource and have help with the content, I was able to do more as a business owner.

in terms of growing our brand, in terms of expanding the agency. And as a mom, be there for my family. And as a human, actually get back into exercising and taking care of myself. When I started this business, I knew that the corporate world wasn't set up to give women the time that they needed to care for themselves, to care for their families. But so many amazing women wanted to do the work that lights them up.
that is their zone of genius. And so my mission with the consistency corner is to grow this agency and give our team that flexible employment opportunity to do work they love that they're excited about, but also have time for themselves and their families. And I want that for you too. What you're about to hear in the delegation download is a roadmap of getting social media off your plate without losing your brand voice or wondering if it's even
working. These episodes are based on our proven 5C framework, which is what we use with every single client in month one of working together. But this isn't just a framework for the sake of having a framework. Each C represents a crucial step that has to be in place for outsourcing to feel like a relief instead of a rewrite heavy nightmare. Here's what we're diving into over the next several episodes. Number one, conversion.
Are your business goals driving your content strategy? Number two, the campaign calendar. Do you have a mapped out plan that supports launches or the funnel stages of your buyer journey? Number three, clarity. Can your team speak clearly in your brand voice? Are all of those brand details and the nuance and the story out of your head and clarified on paper? Number four, content.
Do you have the assets and workflow to make execution simple and feel like a breeze? Number five, consistency. Are we tracking results? Are we optimizing and are we building momentum with that campaign calendar and that content we worked so hard to create?

These are the five areas that I truly believe will set you up for success in delegating. Whether you choose to delegate to the consistency corner or you have an internal team that you are going to hand off social media to, these are the five steps that truly need to be in place so that you can hand off with confidence and step into that visionary CEO role to take your time and energy and creativity and capacity and use it towards the things that
you love that light you up and know that social media is being handled. One of our clients came to us right before a very busy season. Her daughter was graduating. She had two teenage sons, a lot going on and they had a trip abroad in Europe planned. And she just was like, I don't want to think about Instagram anymore. I'm exhausted. I'm over it. I just need it done and handled. By working together, we were able to map out a plan.
a 90 day content calendar, a campaign strategy with a launch and a kind of strategic alignment that meant there was no more tedious back and forth or no more her just throwing spaghetti at the wall. She was able to open her phone, see the content going out and actually smile because she's like, this is fire. This is what I wanted my audience to hear. And now we are compounding and amplifying my message by having a team take it off of my to-do list.
As you go through this podcast series, you are going to hear different tips and tricks in each episode that are in alignment with the five C's that we talked about. You can pinpoint where your delegation plan might be about to break down. You can understand what a team needs to truly do their job well if they're doing social media for you. You know exactly what to ask if you're hiring support and ultimately how to stop doing this whole thing solo.
We'll walk through the strategy, tools and processes we use within our, with our retainer clients, and you'll see how it can be easy when the right foundation is actually in place. By the way, when we talk about our retainer clients and our process, we're going to get into one of our signature deliverables, the Cornerstone Content Kit, which is the first thing we create for our new clients. And it's like your brand's operating system, an SOP, you will, for your brand.

It's not just a one-pager Google Doc. It's dozens of pages, up to a hundred of pages that is the brain of your brand. And our clients are always thrilled to get the details of the brand that they have grown out of their head, clarified and documented so that internal team members, external partners, everybody gets it and understands not only the nuance and the current state of the brand and the mission and the vision,
but the evolution, where the brand has come from, how it has evolved, how it serves the client, who is the ideal client, and so many more details that we will get into. So here's what I want you to do next. If you took the over it index, our assessment for your readiness to delegate, take a look at your results and pick the episodes that we recommend or just binge the whole thing. It's only six more episodes after this. I promise they're all short and packed with clarity and zero fluff.
And if you already know that you're over it and ready to hand off, go ahead and book a call. The link is in the show notes for this episode so we can sit down and have a content consultation and determine if working with the consistency corner is your next right step. But if you're still unsure, keep listening and we'll walk through the five C's and what we'll do to help take content off your to-do list or what you need to have in place if you're ready to delegate and hand it off to someone else. Keep listening.
I can't wait to share more.
